 Effective learning for everyone, anywhere, any time | World Links Zimbabwe (WLZ) is a wholly Zimbabwean registered Trust (000486/2004) established in 2004 at the close of the then World Bank funded World Links for Development Programme (World). WLZ works with schools, educational institutions and communities round the country with a vision to engage all learners in the appropriate use of technology in learning and development. World Links focus areas include School Connectivity, Telecollaboration, Teacher Professional Development and Technical Support Services paying special attention to under resourced schools and communities. Since 1999 to date, WLZ in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Sport and Culture (MOESC) has established in all 10 provinces a total of 45 schools and community based dual- purpose Telecentres open to students and teachers during normal school hours and the community after hours and during weekends.
